FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our plastic injection molding services and capabilities.

What is plastic injection molding and how does it work?
Plastic injection molding is a manufacturing process where molten plastic material is injected into a mold cavity under high pressure. The plastic cools and solidifies into the shape of the mold, creating precise and repeatable parts. The process involves heating plastic pellets, injecting them into a closed mold, cooling, and ejecting the finished part. It’s ideal for producing high volumes of identical parts with complex geometries.
Our injection molding capabilities range from micro parts weighing as little as 0.01g to large components up to 5kg. We have machines ranging from 50T to 1500T clamping force, allowing us to produce parts from tiny precision components for electronics and medical devices to large automotive panels and industrial housings.

We process a wide range of thermoplastic materials including engineering plastics (ABS, PC, PA, POM, PBT), commodity plastics (PP, PE, PS), high-performance plastics (PEEK, PPS, LCP, PEI), and elastomers (TPE, TPU, silicone). We can also work with glass-filled, mineral-filled, and other reinforced materials to meet specific mechanical requirements.

Lead times depend on the complexity of your project. For existing molds, production samples can be ready in 1-2 weeks. For new molds, tooling typically takes 3-6 weeks depending on complexity, followed by sampling and production. We offer expedited services for urgent projects and maintain 24/7 production capability for high-volume orders.

We achieve tight tolerances up to ±0.02mm for precision applications using scientific molding processes, high-precision molds, and advanced process control. Standard tolerances follow industry guidelines based on material type and part geometry. Our quality team works with you to define achievable tolerances based on your functional requirements.
2K (two-component) or multi-shot injection molding is a process where two or more different materials or colors are molded together in a single operation. This eliminates assembly steps and creates strong material bonds. It’s commonly used for soft-touch grips, multi-color parts, seals integrated into housings, and overmolded components.
Yes, we provide comprehensive secondary operations including ultrasonic welding, pad printing, hot stamping, painting, plating, assembly services, and packaging. Our one-stop manufacturing approach means you receive finished, ready-to-use parts without needing multiple suppliers.

We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, IATF 16949 for automotive quality standards, and ISO 13485 for medical device manufacturing. Our facility employs comprehensive quality systems including incoming inspection, in-process monitoring, SPC, and final inspection with CMM and optical measurement systems.

Our minimum order quantities are flexible based on your needs. We support low-volume production runs starting from a few hundred pieces for prototyping and pilot production, up to millions of parts for mass production. We’ll work with you to find the most cost-effective approach for your specific volume requirements.

We use scientific molding methodology, real-time process monitoring, and statistical process control (SPC) to maintain consistency. All machines are equipped with sensors monitoring key parameters. We conduct regular inspections, maintain detailed production records, and perform capability studies to ensure every part meets specifications throughout the production run.
